Kilkenny RnR festival
Saw you there twice over the weekend, great gigs with excellent choice of music, have you a mailing list? One of the best bands of the festival with great choice of music, delivered with style

Hi Ray!
I just received an email from Bill Myers who told me your group had recorded my Azalea Waltz! I'm soooo honored and excited. Bill emailed me the recording as well and it is beautiful!! Thank you very much and I hope to meet you one day and hear it in person. By the way, I've written lyrics for the tune and will record it on my next cd.

All the best,
Kathy Chiavola
Kathy is the composer of the Azelea Waltz, the last track on "About Time Two"

Sincere "Thanks" to you all for the marvelous Gigs you did in Kilkenny last weekend !!! We really enjoyed ourselves at the 3 Gigs   .... still got reverberations of  "The Hound Dog" , "The Wearwolf" ," Games People Play" , "The Weight" - I think !! ... and of course those cajun songs!! From our point of view it was extra satisfying to see our "new recruit", Jessica adapt very well to the TTP way of doin' things !!! By the time you are back in KK again (hurry-on july!) - any chance of you re-visiting "Leaving Louisiana in the ..." ? I'd love to hear it again - especially as you've now got a really tight sound going-on!
Anyway .... Keep up the great rhythms !!!!!!!!!!
Your friends in KK,
Jessica , Maureen & Luke Cody.

And its about time too that I responded to your Two Time Polka album which I received in the post last week. I wasn't able to get a chance to listen to it till mid-week and since then I've played a few times. I have to say I think it's a killer. WAY better than the previous!!!...in terms of performance, choice of material and production value s. Excellent on all counts I would say. I approached 'The Promised Land' with a jaundiced eye as I think the Johnny Allen version has N EQUAL.. But by god! you guys gave him a run for his money. Also love Bayou PomPon and Blind Wille a lot. A fine album...congratulations and every good luck with it.

Well I did go to Courtmasherry last night and as usual ye were brilliant. Really enjoyed the night and the atmosphere was really good.  I brought some friends who had never heard you before and of course they were really impressed. One of them was German and she couldn't believe the music she is one of your many new fans.
Kay Collins, Clonakilty.

I listened to "About time two" yesterday and thoroughly enjoyed it!  Between being excellent musicians, choosing great songs, and clearly having so much fun with the music, it was a treat all the way around.  Hopefully I'll get to see you guys live some time. Until then, I'll play the music on my show.

Just wanted to say congrats to you guys on Album Two and I'm sorry I missed the launch for the second time. Tom as gave me a copy last week. I have to say that I thought after all of the time and effort it was going to be a real studio heavily produced album but ...... I think it was worth it, it's great. I hope you don't mind me saying this but, even though I love "pana to ..", any time I've played it for someone who hasn't heard T.T.P., I usually accompany it by telling them that you have got to hear this band live to get the whole thing. Even though I still feel that way, I think "About Time Two" gets about as close as it can to the real thing. Nice one Ray and Liam. It's going to accompany me on my travels.

Just a short note to congratulate and thank all of 'Two Time Polka' for a great concert in The Portview. It really added to the entire atmosphere of the festival. Thanks again:

We had a great time at the gig - it was really lively! It was one of the best that we saw all weekend that everyone was u p dancing to. I'm sure we 'll see you around the country again - we go to Cork quite a bit, and live in Athy - so if you're ever around the midland areas we'll be there,

Saw you in Killarney a few weekends ago. To be honest had never heard of the band before but you can definitely put me down as a fan now. Went to see The Counting Crows and called into some hotel (can't remember the name) for a few drinks on our way back to the b&b. Really enjoyed the night so, went to see you in The Brewery Tap last weekend. Another great evening. Bought your first album and lovin' it, lovin' it, lovin' it. would like to get my hands on About Time Two. Will you please add me to your mailing list so I can keep an eye on upcoming gigs.
Jacinta O'Neill, Tullamore Phoenix Festival.

We made a dance disc for a friends 40-ieth...after the assembled had eaten their fill of the BBQ'd roast pig on a spit...drunk their way through about half of the assorted available alcohol...had listened politely to an incarnation of Cliff Rescue and the Helicopters(!)...the dancing began in earnest with the recorded stuff on disc...in the mix we'd put three of your Two Time Polka tunes...they had young and old alike up, a hootin and a hollering and gyrating wildly about w ith great enthusiasm, Half Italienne and myself also...till 4 in the morning! If only my knee joints weren't so worn out from that overindulgent syncopation... Well Done Sir...Damn fine music! We're proud of you!

How could I forget receiving two "brilliant" cd's from any artist.  Yes I did receive both your cd's, and I was very impressed with both of them. I have been airing most cuts from them, and comments have been good. I endeavour to air all cuts from most cd's I receive, as if I pick out a couple of tracks to air, that is my own personal choice, but someone in radio land ,may like some of the other cuts/songs. Again...thank you for your most valued support, with two  professional cd's.
Ross Murphy, Radio presenter,101 FM Logan City, NSW, Australia.

thanks for your new CD, About Time Two, which arrived safely today. It looks great, and it sounds great. Well done, all 'round !! My favourites, so far, are probably th e Monroe tracks, especially Roxanna Waltz and Jerusalem Ridge, and your version of Hound Dog is great !!!!! I hope you sell a million, or more, and may you never be short of big-paying gigs .................

Your CDs arrived this morning right as I was stepping out for a bit. When I got back and did some listening and must say you all did a very good job on the project. Congratulations to all. Nice choice of material! You must listen to a lot of the stuff I grew up on. I can tell that you, Geraldine and the boys had fun rocking on some of those tunes.
Mike Considine, "Cross Country Promotions", Chicago.

Still listening to your new CD and both myself and wife really like it. She is quite a music buff and LOVES Louisiana music. I really like the groove you hit on "Hound Dog." Now to be sure, it is not the way that Big Mama Thorton did it or years later when Elvis did, BUT you put your own spin on it and .........It works!!!
Please mention to the members of the band that I think you are did a terrific job in putting t he project together. Keep on doing it!!!! !!!!!!!!!!!!!
Mike Considine, " ;Cross Country Promotions", Chicago.

Thank you very much for last Thursday. Your gig was brilliant! I hope you know how much your music brings joy to our life.

Just thought I would let you know that I am sitting here listening to Two Time Polka on the radio here tonight in Chicago. They are playing "Jerusalem Ridge" and "Roxanna Waltz" tonight on WDCB-FM. That is fast. The DJ had to just get those cuts today. I know that the other DJ will be playing "Hound Dog" tomorrow night.

Just got through hearing "Hound Dog" and "Eunice Two Step" on the Folk Festival show on WDCB here in Chicago
Mike Considine, "Cross Country Promotions", Chicago.

Jerusalem Ridge all owed my mind to wander through the mire of rush hour, to other places, while sandwiched on the MBTA into Boston - Tell EVERYONE "Mad Props" from Bean-town on an album extremely well-crafted.  Makes a man get homesick, I tell y a. Ray, thanks so much. We'll have "The Littlest" Bar rockin' tonight - I just had to hear it for myself first - (call me selfish):::  (I especially like the photo from DeBarra's in Clonakilty!)
Brian Lavin, Boston.

We had a great night and I'm spreading the word!.
Also bought the CD " About time Two" I really think its excellent, well produced, great sound and great songs. Really liked both Elvis songs. Looking forward to seeing you in the Briar Rose over the jazz w/end. I will be in touch shortly as I want to buy the other CD from Pana etc.
